Treu Gadgets was established in 2012 to create a safe platform for sellers looking to sell their gadgets in a safe and flexible manner. Our key priority is safety and convenience knitted together to establish a smooth selling experience for individuals or organizations selling their pre-owned / brand new mobile phones, smart watches, tablets for various reasons such as due to upgrades. We buy fully functional devices and broken devices that can be assessed and repaired.
Our model offers the seller an opportunity to sell in a flexible environment of choice. This is attained by us allowing the seller to elect a comfortable/ suitable meeting venue for the sale i.e a safe and secure public place that meets our standards/ criteria, meeting at the seller’s office/ residence or meeting at our offices in Bryanston or in Centurion.
Our ethical standards restrict us from purchasing devices that are flagged such as blacklisted, network locked, lost mode or stolen mode devices. We will conduct a vigorous assessment using the IMEI/Serial number of the device to ensure that purchasing the device will not violate our ethical code. Please note that we also work in collaboration with the SAPS as a buying house for pre-owned electronics and we are obliged to report anyone attempting to sell us flagged devices that have been acquired in an unethical way.
